Impressionism flourished in the 1860 s,In this period,France were in full swing in capitalist industrial revolution,with the rapid economic growth and the Haussmann great reconstruction of the city in Paris,a series of emerging industries and consumer culture were came into being,France gradually developed into a modern city,which became an experimental pilot for mass consumption.Impressionist artists lived in such a large environment and became a member of the bourgeoisie,the insight into life scene and the capture of fleeting impressions provides many possibilities for modern life.With the change of production relations,female gradually became the main force of consumption,they played various roles in the consumer environment,such as: producers and workers,sellers,consumers,people of leisure and entertainment,and so on,female walked out of the room,integrated into the modern life,also into the Impressionist paintings.The impressionist paintings depicted a lot of female,these female are more likely to be placed in the realm of consumption and played the role of consumption,or the female image itself carried a variety of consumption cultural symbols and characteristics.Therefore,this dissertation takes the female of impressionism as the entry point,takes the Impressionist modern life as a certain context,and through the analysis of female consumption image,especially the analysis of the female clothing,accessories and the consumption symbol carried by themselves,in order to explore the connection between impressionist painting and consumer culture,that these paintings are either explicit or implicit described there female consumption idea,consumption patterns,consumption behaviors and the consumption environment which were reflected in their material production and spiritual production and the social life and the consumption activity from the Impressionist works recessive or dominant.
