The human geography documentary is the documentary type which takes the natural landscape and the humanistic landscape as the independent aesthetic object and the image subject.It is beneficial to record and inherit the traditional culture of our country.The humanities and Geographic documentary of the graduation works,"Xi Jin Du",presents the natural and humanistic landscape of the Jiangsu town of Jiangxi with literary language and storytelling way,showing the scenery,history,culture and customs of the thousand years old.This article focuses on the shooting and production of the graduation work "Xi Jin Du",which is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which explains the reasons and significance of the topic selection,and collate the relevant literature and video materials.The second chapter is the preparatory preparation,including four aspects:data preparation,field research,identifying themes and styles,and developing shooting schemes.The third chapter is the field shooting,mainly expounds the use of four elements in the picture modeling in the process of shooting.The fourth chapter is for the later production,including the determination of the structure,the arrangement and selection of the material,the writing of the commentary and the voice,the film editing and so on.The fifth chapter is about harvest and deficiency,reflecting on the harvest and insufficiency of creation,laying the foundation for further study and creation in the future.
