GIF Dynamic Font Design Research

In twenty-first Century,the rapid development of information communication technology,the Internet,multimedia,digital technology and so on,making art today in a diversified direction.In this context,designers began to realize that font design needs innovation,and new methods and ideas are constantly tried.Graphic design and traditional static font design need innovation,which brings new development opportunities for font design.On the one hand,GIF is a file storage format and the combination of dynamic design,the Internet interaction creates more and more art forms become an important opportunity to GIF dynamic font generation:on the other hand the GIF dynamic performance of dynamic font is more rich and interesting to the audience formed a two-way interactive experience.The moment to meet the aesthetic needs and commercial and cultural communication idea.By collecting a large number of documents and cases,this paper analyzes the background of the development and development of GIF dynamic fonts,and explains the characteristics and design methods of GIF dynamic fonts.GIF dynamic fonts,ever-changing shapes,mapping the Internet era nurtured unique aesthetic appeal,but also for the development of font design in the new direction.I hope that the research results of this thesis can make a little contribution to the study of font design.
