Looking At The Innovation Of Contemporary Yangqin Works From The Performance Of "Wencheng Westbound"

The continuous innovation and growth of contemporary dulcimer compositions is based on the essence of the traditional compositions,and creation level and playing skills have greatly improved.The dulcimer ballade Princess Wencheng which was created by Professor Rui Lunbao is the typical one,it shows many innovative characteristics.This paper begins with briefly introducing contemporary dulcimer compositions,and analyzes compositional techniques and playing techniques.Then in the whole point view of dulcimer compositions which were created by Professor Rui Lunbao and others generalizes application of innovative characteristics.In the case of Princess Wencheng,the creative characteristics are detailed from the characteristics of rhythm,structural and tonal.Finally,combined with its own playing experience,analyzing and summarizing playing skills from the part of intro,lento,allegro and recapitulation.
