After1949,the development of martial arts culture in mainland Chinastagnated.In the following 30 years,the creation center of Chinese martial arts films went to Hong Kong.In 1958 the Shaw Brothers Co.Ltd.was established.The company's owner,Mr.Shawn Shaw,was very dissatisfied with the form and quality of Hong KongCantonese martial arts films.He wanted to take a new martial arts film,drawing on the fierce fighting scenes of the western American denim films.At the same time,the Chinese traditional martial arts moves were integrated into Shaw's company.In order to create the “new century of the martial arts” as an important goal,Shao Shi filmed a series of Chinese martial arts films,including Zhang Che's director who was known as “The New Martial Arts Century” for his pioneering work.“The Warrior”and his later director's “Border Town Three,” “The Great Assassin,” “One-armed Knife,” director Hu Jinquan's “Drunken Master”,director Cheng Gang's “The Heroes”,Chu Yuan The director's "Jianhua Swordsman" and so on,these martial arts films caused a sensation at that time and were loved by the audience.The success of the Shaw Brothers martial arts movie not only benefited from the innovation and breakthrough of its film shooting technology,but also because the moral theme expressed in the Shaw Knights and Martial Arts films inherited the moral spirit of traditional Chinese moral ethics,and constructed a clear and unambiguous way.The Daoyi Jianghu,because of these ideological explorations,has laid the connotation and essence of Chinese martial arts films,and has far-reaching influence on the spiritual core development of various types of Chinese movies such as action films,gangster films,and police films.This article uses Shaw's martial arts film as text to study the ideological content and spiritual meaning contained in his movie stories,and explores the value and significance of his moral and moral themes,so as to find theoretical suggestions for the further breakthrough of Chinese martial art films.The introduction partly traces the origin and development trend of the moral theory.It also summarizes the theoretical literature of the Shaoxing martial arts film and combines the background of the development of the Hong Kong martial arts film since the 1950 s.It establishes the time period for the Shaoxing martial arts film glory.Then the core ideas of this paper are introduced.The first chapter describes the moral theme of Shaw Knightsman movie.The purpose of this chapter is to explore the multi-faceted embodiment of the moral theme in Shaw's martial arts film.First of all,the contents of the martial arts films embody the spirit of morality.Through the classification and generalization of the contents of Shaw's martial arts films,the themes can be summarized as several types of punishing evil,promoting social responsibility,and growing up heroes.Secondly,martial arts film kung fu form a moral spirit.The form of kung fu in the film can be divided into fists and weapons.Different kung fu has a special symbolic meaning.The spiritual conflict of characters is expressed through the kung fu form of conflict.In the end,the emotional choice is to uplift morality and morality,and to complete the thematic interpretation of more humanistic meaning on the premise of the victory of justice.The second chapter presents the value of the moral theme of ShawKnights' movie.This chapter mainly discusses the value of the theme of morality in the martial arts film and discusses it from three aspects: First,the aesthetic value of the theme,including the core.The "positive" beauty of the content and the "odd" beauty of the character's image.Second,the historical value of the theme includes reflection on the historical tragedy of the decline of the dynasty and the exploration of the emotional relationship under the ideological constraints.Third,the social value of the theme,including the repentance of good and evil values in self-reporting and recidivism,and the release of emotions from violent release of evil thoughts.The third chapter is about the limitations of the moral theme of Shaw Knights' movie.Although Shaw's martial arts films have broken through the barriers of traditional Cantonese martial arts and black-and-white films,they are widely recognized for their orthodox moral ideals.However,because of the limitations of the times and creative methods,moral themes still have shortcomings.This chapter discusses the cognition of morality and morality in the context of real culture,and the motive mechanism of martial arts film as a type of film.It deeply analyzes the limitations of martial arts film given by the theme of morality in the realistic and artistic aspects.
