The Development And Inheritance Of Shandong Luozi's Context

Awarded as the title of ‘Light Cavalry' by Chairman Mao,Laozi is a jewel in Chinese traditional operas.There has been a thousand years of history so far.This kind of traditional opera art was firstly chanted by monks and then by beggars,and now two ways of Laozi including Shandong Laozi are formed.Based on the lotus Laozi,closely combined with folk customs and people,with the development of economic level,Shandong Laozi becomes a representative local opera in Shandong region.In order to achieve better protection and inheritance of Shandong Laozi,Shandong Laozi was listed in the list of national intangible cultural heritage on June 7,2008.However,the current research on Shandong Laozi is still not perfect and in-depth.At present,there is little information about the vocals,lyrics,and musical characteristics of Shandong Laozi and there is a lack of systematic and all-around investigation and research into the historical origins,developments,and systems of Shandong Laozi.This article takes a case study of West Shandong Laozi in Yuncheng region.The natural geographical environment and humanistic geography environment and the sprout,evolution and development,maturity and decline of the formation of Shandong Laozi is elaborated;the musical characteristics of Laozi are studied: the vocals,accompaniment music features,representative repertoires,performance venues,and aesthetic features are summarized.From the perspective of sociology,the influence of monks,beggars,and Laozi artists;the study of their fusion development strategies with respect to the single melody and tune of Shandong Laozi;finally the status of Laozi and the corresponding protection are introduced.The research results of this article will contribute to the continuation of the artistic vitality of Shandong Laozi.Shandong Laozi needs to absorb the local sister art,to be enriched and developed,for realizing the goal of fusion development of folk art.
