Textual Research And Explanation Of The Words In "Sixty Kinds Of Songs"

Ming Dynasty developed much mature in the stage of the modern Chinese language.It mainly reflects these chacacters including the appearance of the new words,the disappearance of the obsolete words,the change of meanings as well as the alternations of words.It is the book of Liu Shi Zhong Qu that is the earliest and largest series of Chinese dramas.And it contains 60 series of Chinese dramas that has high intellectual achievements.Besides,the Liu Shi Zhong Qu provides the vital meterials which is beneficial for the study of the Chinese history,the Modern Chinese vocabulary and the codification of the dictionary.The study explores the meaning of words according to the context,using the traditional exegesis methods,such as comparative analysis as well as inference meanings from sounds,and using other moderrn linguistic theories to explain those words detailedly,which contains neologism such as "huangchenbailang","huidun","jiren","jianyun","luqin","lunzhuo","tuofan","xuqing","yongshi","zhuanmo",together with polysemy that contains "piaogeng","tangju","xushuang","tieqi","zhijian" and "shanzhishi",as well as dialectal words that includes "chou","jiliu","tuxia".What's more,the article also compares the meanings and editions for the three pairs of words:"qiaqiashengsheng" and "hahashengsheng","huifu" and "tongfu","jiushi" and "yushi".Through the annotations on words in the Liu Shi Zhong Qu,we now could have a good interpretation of drama documents,and have a clearer general expression of the modern Chinese vocabulary.By the annotations on words,we can witness the changes of some meanings in the development of vocabulary and explain some language phenomena.Besides,it is helpful for making the good knowledge of the ancient documents edition.Finally,the annotations of some words in the Liu Shi Zhong Qu are also beneficial for the compilation of special or comprehensive dictionaries,and even the quality of these dictionaries would be better.We attempted to interpret and explain some words in the Liu Shi Zhong Qu,which missed in the Great Chinese Dictionary or the Modern Chinese Dictionary.Besides,we tried to organize some of the meanings of the words which do not exist in the dictionaries.And it helps to correct mistakes which caused by the inappropriate examples.At the same time,the annotations on the words in the Liu Shi Zhong Qu can offer new materials for the codification and revision of the dictionaries.
