Tang Dynasty And Sogdian Art Exchange Research

This paper is based on the work of Mr.Wang Yong's book "the exchange of Chinese and foreign art",however,with the current research goes concerned,the book of Mr Wang is very sufficient about the part of art exchange between China and Japan.But for Tang Dynasty and Central Asia,most of the cross cultural interaction does not showed.In the book,Mr Wang introduced the tri-coloured glazed pottery of the Tang Dynasty and some silverware from Persia.The missing part makes me wonder about the equality of importance that can be said to be the beginning and passage of the art exchange in the Tang Dynasty.The purpose of this paper is to supplement and expand the Sui and Tang Dynasty in the history of art exchange between China and Central Asia,especially for the Sogdian art and culture.At that time,under the open social background of Tang Dynasty,Zoroastrianism not only settled in Chang'an,but also developed a group of Han people's believers.Therefore,in the Song Dynasty,Jiexiu Zoroastrianism,a Chinese-style building with the characteristics of Central Asia,appeared in the Song Dynasty.In the popular Hu Xuan dance of the Tang Dynasty,the gold and silver wares caused chain effect in China,and the dress reform of women in the Tang Dynasty originated from the dance practice,and the Chinese craftsman's reference to the Central Asian vessel aesthetics;The artistic images of mythical characters are also propagated on the Silk Road by the Sogs and combined with other cultures,such as the Chinese Erlang Shen and the unicorn conjectured by the author of this paper.Finally,the article discusses the historical background of the Western region.The Sogitans,their role in the history of the entire Eurasian continent.This article uses the art history theory analysis method,the art archaeology research method and the image science carries on the analysis demonstration.This article uses the art history analysis method,the art archaeology research method and the image science to carry on the analysis and demonstration.With all the data I have consult,hope that can be more comprehensive history of art communication.Especially between the Tang Dynasty and Sogdian culture and art exchange would bemore wider and deeper in this paper.And with some reverse art exchange data,hope to make this paper better.
