Zhou bangyan is a famous poet in the late period of Northern Song Dynasty,he is a man of consequence in the poem history.He not only inherited the style of graceful and restrained from Liu yong,another famous poet of Northern Song Dynasty,but has a far-reaching influence to following poets such as Jiang kui,Shi dazu.When it comes to the style of Zhou bangyan's Song poems,which is also called Qing zhen's poems,from Northern Song Dynasty,almost every dynasty has research about it.The style of graceful and restrained is only a style on the whole which correspond to bold and generous style,and it's a basic feature of Song poems.Zhoubangyan's poems are highly thought of by the critics,just because they are unique works.That is to say,because the style that only belongs to him we appreciate his works really and we can feel that in his works.This article will analyze all the comments and reasons to his works' style from the ancient times to contemporary,aims to exploit the unique charming of Zhoubangyan's poems,at the same time explore significance that comments on style to poems criticizing and creation.This thesis will be divided into three parts: first chapter,I will discourse the progress about the style criticism of Zhoubangyan's poems,summarize the features and types in different period,mainly from Song dynasty to temporary.Chapter two I will analyze literature trends and esthetic sentiment on the history and combined with critics' own concept,discourse reasons that caused these comments.Chapter three explore comments on style will bring about which type of influence on poems criticism and creation.Then explore the significance of style criticism.
