Nowadays,consumers obtain information much more rapidly and frequently due to the development of new media in the realm of advertising design.Traditional visual media have been facing with intensive challenges and influencing poster advertising of all kinds of brands directly.It is surveyed that an ordinary citizen encounters more than a hundred pictures per day,including print media,all kinds of poster advertising in public,online videos and images,etc...Under the circumstances of the fiercely competitive market,the poster advertising companies must convert their concepts and be fused with multiplied visual elements in order to stand out among numerous promoting forms.As a result,they will be able to catch the attention of consumers and achieve the communication effect.Creative ideas determine whether a poster will be successful or not.Creative photography are becoming more and more important in the realm of poster advertising.It is the trend of visual design.All kinds of poster advertising employs creative photography to express and impress.In this way,not only it broadens the language of photography but also enrich the visual effects.In recent years,the usage of photography in poster advertising has become popular.Nevertheless,based on my research,quite a few posters failed at the fusion of documentary photography and creative ideas.In this dissertation,I am about to analyze the social demand,basic characters and forms of creative photography,relating its usage in the realm of poster advertising,based on researches and theories both domestically and overseas.Starting with the current conditions of advertising market,I will discuss the frequently used ways of creative photography and conclude the principles of processing afterwards so as to find a more efficient and convenient work pattern.This paper will explain the application of creative photography in the design world from different perspectives,which aims to obtain an ideal promoting result.
