As more and more languages are endangered,the protection of endangered languages is increasingly become an important task of humanity.In recent years,the Eco-linguistics Theory has gradually gotten people's attention.Language records the diversity of creatures and also the uniqueness of nations.We can understand the national culture background,only by saving the national language.This paper focused on the novel,On the Right Bank of the Argun River,which about the modern history of the Ewenki.According to the Eco-linguistics Theory,we used the text analysis,induction,quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis to analyze these words.We selected these words from the novel,and found the the Ewenki's face of language,environment,life and development.Finally,we summarized the characteristics of these words.There are five chapters in addition to the thesis and epilogue.We analyzed the face of language in the first chapter.We started with the types and applications of these words,and analyzed how these transliteration words were first introduced in the novel,and how to used in the novel.Besides,we analyzed some the Ewenki's songs.And finally,we had some discuss on endangered languages.We introduced the face of environment in the second chapter.The ecological environment of the Ewenki was presented from these aspects: plants,animals,and the border.We listed some animal and plant nouns,and some place names,in order to show the original forest and products' characteristics of the novel.We introduced the face of existence in the third chapter.We started with these words which reflect the hunting life,religious beliefs,cultural traditions,ethnic taboos and ethnic costumes.From these words,we found the Ewenki people's survival face in all aspects.We discussed the face of development in the fourth chapter.We started with these words which were used in the three parts of the novel: Morning,Noon and Evening,and analyzed the impact of the change of time and space.We wanted to show the change of the Ewenki' people who were disturbed by the outside interference,like the Japanese invasion and the founding of The People's Republic of China and so on.Finally,we analyzed the characteristics of words on the whole in the fifth chapter.After Sorting and analyzing these words,we found three traits of these words.Firstly,the combination of comprehensiveness and typicality.Secondly,the combination of contemporaneity and development.Thirdly,the combination of the minorities' s culture and the The han nationality's culture.The innovation of this paper is using the Eco-linguistics Theory.We started with the selection of words which from the novel,and found the common feature of their life which was reflected by these words.Finally,we summarized the general characteristics of the words.
