Rural market is the center of village.G.WilliamSkinner,the famous American anthropologist regards the market as a primary grass-roots market in the rural center in the study of the Chinese rural market.The rural market undertakes the important function of goods exchange.At the same time,the market is also a center of political,economic,and cultural in countryside.It is the most important gathering place in the rural life.The rural market can realistically reflect the status of the nearby countryside.Due to the special landform,countryside in southwestern China have always been quite different from countryside in northern China in terms of agricultural production,the degree of agricultural mechanization is very low.With the develop of the urbanization process,in order to keep a good standard of living,agricultural producers in the southwest prefer to be urban workers.For this reason,countryside in southwest China are increasingly characterized of "hollowing".In this study,the author made a searching enquiry to understand the rural market in southwest China and hoped to provide some new ideas for rural development in southwestern China.In this study,author abandoned the previous research on rural and rural development from the economic point of view,and switched from a cultural point of view,and adopted field research methods.In the survey,authors learned that no matter whether economic development or cultural heritage in today's countryside,it is almost in a state of stagnation.This state has seriously affected the healthy development of urbanization in China.The following is the main content of this article:Introduction:A brief overview of the research's background,just like research objects,research methods,etc.This paper adopts the research perspective and method of cultural anthropology,the author deliberately added the description of object in the introduction,and hoped to clearly explain the value and significance of the object.The first chapter:In this chapter,the author mainly introduces the present situation and background of Minxing Bazaar.These include:market's economy,market's traffic,schools in the market,and the background of Minxing.The second chapter:The second chapter mainly focus on the study of new or old buildings in Minxing.In this chapter,changes of the market building are represented by the contrast between old and new buildings.Chapter ?:This chapter mainly analyzes and studies the centralized stores in Minxing.In terms of methods,the content of this chapter is almost same as the second chapter,and to describe the development of the old and new shops in the market to demonstrate the desolateness of the market's shops.The fourth chapter:This chapter analysis the people of minxing.and hope to present the decline of the culture of the market.Chapter 5:For local villager,the market is very important in social contact.Therefore,the content of this chapter mainly studies the ways of communication between villagers around the market.The change of social contact in market is a symbol of the change of social contact in whole village.And the change demonstrated the decline of village culture.Conclusion:Summarize problems and reasons those have arisen in the development of southwestern rural areas.
