The original Confucian morality education thought formed in The Spring and Autumn period and Warring States period is the source of moral education thought in China,which contains rich moral education resources.As the mainstream of Chinese traditional ideology and culture,the idea experiences the baptism of history,having been internalized as a human character.During thousands of years,it has a deep impact on people's lifestyle and thinking mode,having some obvious moral enlightenment.Therefore,fully excavating outstanding elements of the original Confucian moral education thought and giving full play to its influence,people enable it to closely integrate with an era,which can provide new goals,contents and methods for the work of the temporary moral education.Based on the historical background and the theory of human nature of the original Confucianism,this paper systematically sorted out the main contents of the original Confucian ethics education thought.On this basis,individuals make the objective evaluation on its historical influence,excavating a rational core of the original Confucian moral education thought.Ultimately,from goals,contents,methods of the moral education,it elaborates its contemporary value to provide the direction and guidance for the development of the later ethics education work.The article mainly consists of four parts: firstly,the historical background and the theory of human nature basis of the original Confucian ethics education thought.Making the original Confucianism and the original Confucian moral education thought as a starting point,this part explores economic,political and cultural conditions of the original Confucian moral education thought.Also,based on the theory of human nature,it discusses the necessity and the possibility of moral education,which lays a foundation for the following writing.Secondly,the primary system of the original Confucian ethics education thought.Its main system includes: the moral education goal of "sage" ideal personality,"benevolence" as the central moral education content,teaching and self-cultivated morality education method.Third,it discusses the historical evaluation of the original Confucian ethics education thoughts.This paper analyzes the historical value and limitation of the original Confucian morality education thought,critically inheriting its excellent composition.Finally,it talks the contemporary value of the original Confucian morality education thought.From a moral education goal,content and method,the essence composition of the original Confucian moral education thought can be fully excavated,demonstrating the original Confucian moral education method to the era value of the current moral education work.Analysis and research on the modern value of the original Confucian moral education thought,the ultimate foothold is to serve the human development and social progresses as well as improve the current moral education work,improving social moral standards.It enables people to realize the profound Chinese traditional culture,meanwhile,we should establish a high level of cultural confidence and consciousness,consciously devoting ourselves to the practice of building a strong socialist culture.
