General Secretary Xi held the idea of "the three rural issues" in the 2018 two sessions and even mentioned the revitalization of the country. The image of modern migrant workers who can not retain in the countries and stay in the cities was depicts vividly. There is a subtle relationship between college student groups and migrant workers. And how is the attitude of the college students towards the migrant workers?Choosing the consistent social comparison as the intervention measures to the stereotype of migrant workers, what are the effects of their intervention and what are the influencing factors?Researching aims:In this paper, the consistent social comparison is used as an intervention method for college students' changes on the stereotype of migrant workers. It was discussed whether the consistent social comparison under the I AT and GNAT paradigms can effectively weaken the explicit and implicit stereotype of college students towards the migrant workers.Besides,a research on the influence factors were carried out.Research methods:This study selected Shaanxi Normal University students for the randomized grouping of subjects. The pre-and post test was the main experiment.Study 1:Experiment I,the consistent social comparison under the IAT paradigm can effectively reduce the explicit stereotype of migrant workers was discussed and the effect of social distance was verified. The opening questionnaires and vocabulary assessment methods were used to select target words and attribute words that were familiar to college students. And The Semantic Difference Scale was compiled.Using Interview and Expert Evaluation, the a consistent social comparison material was screened and compiled. The Semantic Difference Scale and Social Distance Scale were used to carry out the mixed experimental design of 2(Groups:the consistent social comparison group/control group)*2(pre-and post test:pre-test/post-test).Experiment II,the consistent social comparison under the IAT paradigm can reduce the implicit stereotype of migrant workers was discussed and the effect of social distance was verified. The Semantic Difference Scale?Social Distance Scale and IAT test were used to carry out the mixed experimental design of 2(Groups:the consistent social comparison group/control group)*2(pre-and post test:pre-test/post-test).Study 2:Experiment I,the consistent social comparison under the GNAT paradigm can effectively reduce the explicit stereotype of migrant workers was discussed and the effects of social distance and self-esteem were verified. The Semantic Difference Scale?Social Distance Scale and The Self-esteem Scale were used to carry out the mixed experimental design of 2(Groups:the consistent social comparison group/control group)*2(pre-and post test:pre-test/post-test).Experiment ?,the consistent social comparison under the GNAT paradigm can reduce the implicit stereotype of migrant workers was discussed and the effects of social distance and self-esteem were verified. The Semantic Difference Scale?Social Distance Scale? The Self-esteem Scale and GNAT test were used to carry out the mixed experimental design of 2(Groups:the consistent social comparison group/control group)*2(pre-and post test:pre-test/post-test)*4(tasks:"citizens-active"/"citizens-negative"/"migrant workers-positive "/" migrant workers-negative ").The results of the study are as follows:(1).College Students' evaluation of migrant workers was lower than that of citizens. There was no significant difference in the explicit stereotype between the urban and rural college students. However, there was a significant difference in the D value of the implicit stereotype, and the D value of the urban subjects is significantly greater than the D value of the rural subjects.(2).The paired sample t-test was carried out for the test questions scores of the startup effectiveness in the consistent social comparison. The score of the experimental group was significantly smaller than that of the control group. As for the social distance,The score of pre-test social distance was significantly less than the post-test.The score of the experimental group is significantly greater than that of the control group. The interaction effect between pre-and post test and groups was significant. There were significant differences between the pre-and post test in the experiment group. There was no significant difference between the pre-and post test in the control group.(3).After the study of the repeated measurement analysis of variance about the explicit stereotype, there were no significant differences between the main effect and interaction effect of the pre-and post test and the groups were not significant, but the moderating effect model was significant.(4).The repeated measurement variance analysis of implicit stereotype:Study 1:The interaction between pre-test and group was significant. The analysis of simple effect found that the D value of the pre-test experiment group was significantly greater than that of the control group.Study 2:The main effect of pre-and post test was significant, the pre-test was significantly less than post-test.The main effect of task was significant."Migrant workers-negative" was significantly greater than"migrant workers-positive".The interaction effect of the pre-and post test and task was significant.Simple effect analysis showed that the pre-test of "citizen negative"was significantly less than the post-test,the pre-test of "citizen positive" was significantly less than the post-test,the pre-test of "migrant workers-negative" was significantly greater than the "migrant workers-positive" and the post-test was no difference.Research conclusions:(1).The college students had explicit and implicit stereotype about migrant workers. There was no significant difference in the source area on the explicit level. There was significant difference in the source area on the implicit level.Urban subjects had more implicit stereotype than rural subjects on migrant workers.(2).The startup of the consistent social comparison was effective. The social distance between the group of college students and the group of migrant workers in the experimental group was shortened.(3).The consistent social comparison did not affect the college students explicit stereotype of migrant workers, but the process was regulated by self-esteem.(4).The consistent social comparison can effectively reduce college students'implicit stereotype of migrant workers. The process was not regulated by self-esteem and there is no mediation on the change of social distance.
