Zhu Ziqing is a classic writer in Chinese textbooks of secondary schools. The reason why Zhu Ziqing is favored by Chinese textbooks of secondary schools is because Zhu Ziqing's prose works well with the objectives of Chinese teaching in secondary schools with its standardized features. The standardized features are mainly manifested in Zhu Ziqing's prose with two aspects:the paradigm of writing scenes and the guiding nature of the theme. At the same time, external social factors are constantly maintaining the close relation between Zhu Ziqing and Chinese textbooks of secondary schools. These factors refer to the involvement of social voices, the dynamic promotion of literary theory and criticism, and the influence of literary classics memory.Under the influence of both the internal and external reasons,Zhu Ziqing showed three images—a poetic essayist,a traditional essayist, and an essayist with ideological education significance in the process of being accepted in Chinese teaching of secondary schools.Zhu Ziqing's image shaped by Chinese teaching of secondary schools will have an indispensable effect on the public acceptance of Zhu Ziqing and academic research on Zhu Ziqing. On the one hand,Zhu Ziqing has become a classic example of modern literature accepted by the public, yet it will also lead to a one-sided impression when the public accepts Zhu Ziqing. On the other hand, the acceptance on Zhu Ziqing in Chinese teaching of secondary schools affected the position of Zhu Ziqing in the history of Chinese literary, and it also had a negative impact on Zhu Ziqing's prose studies. These influences and problems must be faced and resolved when discussing the acceptance on Zhu Ziqing.
