A New Exploration Of Lu Xun's Theory Of Evolution

Lu xun's theory of evolution has always been an important part in lu xun's research.From the 1930 s to the present,the relevant research continues.However,after consulting the data,the author found that the previous researches had the following limitations,first,the period was limited to a single period,such as early,middle and late stage;second is limited to a few texts,only to cite favorable examples;third,only the relationship between lu xun's theory of evolution and other thoughts...In this paper,we try to make a complete study of lu xun's theory of evolution to make up for the limitations and shortcomings of the predecessors.This paper tries to make some new explorations on lu xun's theory of evolution based on lu xun's whole thought and all relevant literatures in Lu Xun Complete Works.This thesis is divided into three chapters.Chapter one rearranging the evolution of lu xun's theory of evolution.Mainly through text reduction and life investigation,the evolvement process of evolution in lu xun's thought is shown as the basis of the study.The first section is different from the predecessors,without elaborating on the origin of evolution and its propagation in China and Japan.Instead,it focuses on the contact and feelings of lu xun's evolution in different periods.In the second section,the author analyzed the theory of evolution of lu xun's works in detail,and discussed the position of evolution in the early and middle thoughts of lu xun from two aspects,theoretical and existential.The third section shows that the theory of evolution,though not the core status in lu xun's later thought,is not disappearing,but in the "second place";on the other hand,it is pointed out that the "destruction" of lu xun's theory of evolution is the "youth killing youth" in "purge the party" incident,and not just the class theory.Chapter two reveals lu xun's unique view of evolution.On the basis of the previous chapter,the main performance and uniqueness of lu xun's evolutionary view are discussed.The first section starts with the question of "national character",and contacts lu xun's acceptance and improvement of Nietzsche's "superman theory" to study lu xun's view of human evolution.The second section mainly investigates thedegenerative side of lu xun's theory of evolution.By examining Old Tales Retold,we can find out the evidence that still has many evolutional thoughts in his later stage,and the obvious implication of the degenerative view of evolution.In the third section,on the one hand,discusses the origin of lu xun's concept of "intermediates" and its sociological significance from the translation of Thus Spoke Zarathustra by lu xun.On the other hand,the concept of "intermediates" in the physiology textbooks written by lu xun in the early days was sorted out to restore its biological significance.Chapter three explore lu xun's behavior under the influence of evolution.Lu xun believes in the theory of evolution,and also has specific and unique practical methods under the influence of evolution.The first section takes the "spirit" and "individual" as the starting point,and points out that lu xun has called for the spiritual evolution of the individual and the emphasis on human transformation fromthe early to late of his life.The second section starts from the internal relation between evolution and the transformation of "national character",and examines lu xun's thought transformation method of "bringing humanity to the whole".The third section points out that the theory of evolutionism is the product of the bringism,and in the view of lu xun's attitude and methods,the theory of evolution is unique.
