Jing-Chu culture is an important part of the history of Chinese culture which has distinctive features.Su Shi was demoted to Huangzhou because of "Wutai poem Case" at AD 1079.During this period,his life attitude,ideological realm and literary creation were inevitably affected by Jing-Chu regional culture which had both accepted and opened up Jing-Chu cultural traditions as well as undergone tremendous evolutions.This paper analyzes Su Shi's different changes and cultural activities during the period of Huangzhou,which is divided into four parts: the state of mind,the evolution of the thought and the literary creation under the influence of Jing-Chu culture.The first part briefly describes the relationship between Jing-Chu culture and Su Shi.Jing-Chu culture has a long history and distinctive traditional features.Jing Chu culture had a significant impact on Su Shi as his relegated stage of life and cultural background.Under these influence,Su Shi's life,thought and literary style had undergone tremendous changes during the period of his exile.The second part discusses the influence of Su Shi's mood in Huangzhou under the influence of Jing-Chu culture.After restoring from a huge psychological trauma during the exile time of Huangzhou,Su Shi distracted the spirit of loneliness by experiencing Jing-Chu folk and enjoying the landscape of Jing-Chu on the one hand,on the other hand he changed his identity from an official to a civilian to further understand the living conditions of the people at the bottom of Huangzhou.Su Shi always adhere to their own "patriotic" beliefs under the influence of Qu Yuan,a representative of Jing-Chu cultural.The third part discusses the evolution of Su Shi's thought in Huangzhou under the influence of Jing-Chu culture.Su Shi had always has Confucianism official thinking as his main idea and adhered to the principle of positive accession to the politics before his exile.After his relegation,Su Shi's thought changed through the re-examination of the degree of acceptance between Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism in the rich Jing-Chu culture Buddhist and the Taoist tradition atmosphere.His lifestyle began to gradually move toward the direction of Zen meditation.Finally,he reached the realm of integration of Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism,meanwhile,Su Shi reshaped unique distinctive characteristics of the ideological value system.The fourth part discusses the evolution of Su Shi's Ci poetry in Huangzhou under the influence of Jing-Chu culture.Su Shi did not dare to write poetry for a long time after his exile,so the Ci poetry became one of the important ways to express Su Shi's inner feelings.Su Shi's Ci poetry in this period have reached the peak of his life's literary and artistic creation by using Jing-Chu unique geographical landscape characteristics as well as cultural and historical background as his creation material.His creation completed the transformation from the words of the workers to the words of the scholar and created a bold style of the Ci poetry,which can not be ignored in research and value and meaning level.
