Research On Women's Dresses In Sui And Tang Dynasties

Clothing is the adornment of the human body,it reflects the social culture and people's aesthetic concept to a certain extent,it is also a national image.And the ceremonial robe is the special one in the clothing,it was used in the solemn occasion and the ceremony,and mainly applied to the nobility,has been endowed with the function of "identifying social states".As an important part of the rite system,the ceremonial robe can reflect the process of the evolution of the concept of propriety to a certain extent,which is of great significance to the development of the rite of inquiry.Because of the lack of data,there are many researches on the common wear in the academic field,the research on the ceremonial robe is less,and in the limited study of the ceremonial robe,it is mainly aimed at the male clothing,the research of the female ceremonial dress becomes the weak link.The Sui and Tang dynasties were the key period of the development of Chinese ancient clothing,and the female costumes of this period had distinctive features of the Times,not only inherited the characteristics of the former dynasty,but also influenced the costumes of the later generations.This period of cultural openness,women's social status has been improved,this is also reflected in the clothing.Sui-tang's female dress has a great influence on the later generations,both in terms of system and form,and plays an important role in the development of the dress.This article adopts the method of combining literature and cultural relics to study and debate the Sui and Tang women's dress,mainly have the following four points:First,the Sui and Tang women's dress system research,in particular,the documents include the empress,the imperial wife,the life-giving woman's dress usage and the formal regulations,and the second,the study of the female ceremonial dress in Sui and Tang dynasties,it includes the material materials such as stone block line engraving,Stone case line engraving,Tang tomb fresco and DunHuang frescoes,and the third part explores the origin and evolution of Sui and Tang women's dress from the aspects of the uniform system and image data.
