Research On The Cultural Changes Of The Hui Nationality In Zhen'an County, Shangluo City

This paper focus on the cultural changes of Hui nationality in southern Shaanxi(hereinafter referred to as "Southern Shaanxi").The investigation points out that Zhenan County of Shangluo City is located in the hinterland of Qinling Mountains.The Hui nationality moved into Zhenan County in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and scattered all over the country,formed its own villages in the countryside,and formed many settlement areas of various sizes in the autonomous areas of cities and towns,with typical features of'large dispersion and small concentration".For a long time,the local Hui traditional culture has experienced conflict,adjustment and reconstruction in the process of adapting to the natural and social environment.Based on this background,this paper begins with ethnology.From the angle of view,using the relevant theories of cultural change,combining with the statistical methods of sociology,by consulting literature,interviews,questionnaires and comparative analysis,etc,this paper probes into various changes in the material culture and spiritual culture of Hui nationality in Zhenan County since modern times and the cultural adjustment of the local Hui nationality in the process of modernization.Then it analyzes the characteristics of the cultural changes of Hui nationality in the scattered areas of ethnic groups in southern Shaanxi.The full text is divided into four chapters except the introduction and the conclusion.The introduction part firstly introduces the background and significance of this thesis,secondly,it introduces the representative general theory of culture at home and abroad,the study of regional Hui culture change,and the present situation of research on Islam and Hui culture in Shaanxi.The last part is the research method and innovation of this paper.The first chapter mainly introduces the historical and cultural situation of Hui nationality in Zhenan County,and the distribution of Hui nationality in Southern Shaanxi Province,respectively.The origin of Hui nationality in Zhenan County and the population and distribution pattern of Hui nationality in Zhenan County are expounded in three aspects.The second chapter discusses the cultural changes of Hui nationality inZhenan County since modern times,mainly about material culture,customs and habits.The third chapter analyzes the cultural adjustment in the process of cultural change of Hui nationality in Zhenan County,mainly including the adaptability of the process of change.The challenges encountered in the cultural change and how to carry out cultural adjustment.Chapter four mainly take Zhenan County as an example,Based on the analysis of the characteristics and laws of the cultural changes of the Hui nationality in the scattered and mixed areas of southern Shaanxi,it is considered that there are intergenerational and regional differences in the process of cultural changes,and then the local ethnic relations,the relationship between national identity and cultural changes.Finally,the paper think about the problems existing in the development of Hui culture in remote mountainous areas,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.The conclusion part summarizes the full text from three aspects:(1)There are differences in the cultural changes of the Hui nationality in the Zhenan County;(2)The cultural adjustment of the Hui nationality's cultural changes is a kind of positive adjustment Zhenan County;(3)in the process of modernization,the cultural changes of the Hui nationality should be adapted to the law of the development of the Times,On the basis of actively inheriting the traditional Hui nationality's culture,it constantly develops its material culture and spiritual culture,so that the local Hui people get out of the regional and "territorial" dilemma of the cultural development,and come out a new way to the development of the Hui culture in the remote mountainous areas.
