The beginning of the multimedia drama can be traced back to the desperation of the German director Piscatato in 1925."The use of film images in this drama is the earliest attempt at multimedia drama.The multimedia drama is only the use of scientific and technological means of drama,but should be based on the drama as the core,retaining the core elements of the drama,using other artistic forms and more than two forms of digital communication media drama,in which multimedia technology as a symbol in the drama space It has an irreplaceable meaning.It participates in the narrative of drama,has its own aesthetic value,and can mutually refer to other theatrical elements to create aesthetic meaning.However,until today,multimedia drama still has no fixed paradigm.From the moment it was born,it means to become a dialogue between tradition and science and technology,and always maintains the significance and value of exploration.This article will analyze the development of China's multimedia drama in recent 30 years,explore the stage exploration of China's multimedia drama in recent years,and explore the expansion of drama from the perspective of technology and symbols.The first chapter mainly introduces the research background significance and methods of multimedia drama.It combs and summarizes the research results of multimedia drama.Based on this,it defines the concept of multimedia drama.Chapter 2 analyzes the characteristics of the research object based on the definition of the concept,which is an important part of distinguishing and defining the multimedia drama.At the same time,the course of development of multimedia drama at home and abroad was sorted out,and the works featured in Chinese multimedia drama in recent ten years were listed,and these works were taken as the main examples of post-analysis analysis.Chapter 3 analyzes the integration of techniques,art concepts,expression effects,and aesthetics of Chinese multimedia dramas from the four perspectives of technology,stage space,performance,and acting relationship.It can be concluded that the multimedia drama is an extension of the contemporary Chinese dramatic art expression.Chapter 4 explores the artistic value and significance of multimedia drama from the perspective of theatrical ontology and essence.In the conclusion,the author strengthens the argumentation of the existence and rationality,necessity and importance of the research object,makes a brief commentary on the problems and dilemmas of the multimedia drama,and makes an outlook on its development prospects.
