In the realm of science fiction films there is an important established subgenre called Cyberpunk.These films play an all-important world in the contemporary cinematic world.In the turn of the century,cyberpunk films have surged in popularity around the world and has gained widespread attention from many film critics.It contains both the core elements of science fiction films with their scientific and technical imaginative speculations,along with a humanistic integration.These types of films are a combination of philosophical speculation with a high degree of artistic techniques,which captivates the audience in an aesthetic bliss which allows them to focus on the deeper meaning of subjective dissimilation.With the use of these various image sign systems makes cyberpunk films garner a long-term vitality.This article has deeply explored the causes of the crisis of cyberspace to which is represented by cyberpunk films,while remaining subjective.With the self-cognition dilemma and identity crisis triggered by the duel dissimilation of the subject(Human or Cyborg)and the object(technology);in turn represents the technological power transformation from post-industrial society to cyberspace.The subjective crisis of cyberspace is the result of both these factors.Based on this understanding and focusing on the narrative theories,with the perspectives of Time and Space Image,Myth Archetype and Identity Construction,this article interpreted the subjective dissimilation of the main characters and remodeling mechanism in cyberpunk films.It further explored the implications of cyberpunk film to which cyberpunk films is a reflection of the living conditions of the contemporary human beings and meaningful exploration of future social development of mankind.
