The period of wei,jin,southern and northern dynasties was the first glorious period of Chinese painting.Gu kaizhi,a painter in the eastern jin dynasty who belonged to this period,was a master of the art world.Chinese painting thought to gu kaizhi has become a system,he is the architect of Chinese painting theory,the Chinese painting mainly line of figure painting in gu kaizhi's painting has been developed and improved.The standard of appreciation and evaluation of Chinese figure painting is "writing god in form" put forward by gu kaizhi after summarizing the relationship between form and spirit before the jin dynasty and after imparting god.After tang and song dynasties,the field of painting was basically judged by this.In Ming dynasty,the social economic stability,culture and art become rich rise,Chen hongshou is the Ming and qing dynasties the traditions in a special,unique personal style of a painter,Chen hongshou don't follow the pattern of the old style,his pursuit of self,in the form of innovation for the traditional style of painting and folk art,through the deformation and exaggeration,and of its own.He studied various multi-school art styles,respected ancient law,lived in the past but did not die in the past,and his characters were exaggerated and strange.Chen hongshou's unique and innovative art form has exerted a great influence on later generations and contemporary Chinese figure painters.Although gu kaizhi and Chen hongshou are far from each other in terms of age,they have the same historical origin in some aspects of figure painting.Chen hongshou expanded on the basis of inheriting gu kaizhi's figure painting,and finally formed a unique style of figure painting.This paper is divided into five parts.By gu kaizhi in eastern jin period relate to a period between Ming dynasty and early qing Chen hongshou social background,the impact of the painting,from the life and artistic features of the two,subject matter,composition,shape,creative ideas and influence on later generations,gu kaizhi figure painting of Chen hongshou helpful to inherit and develop.Part I:introduction.This paper describes the topic selection or research significance of the paper,the current research status of this topic at home and abroad,as well as the research ideas and research methods.The second part:elaborates the influence of different times on the painting styles of gu kaizhi and Chen hongshou in the eastern jin dynasty and the late Ming and early qing dynasties.Part three:the life and artistic features of gu kaizhi and Chen hongshou.The fourth part:from the painter time and living environment of the different impact on creation concept,subject matter,style and line features four aspects to interpret Chen hongshou gu kaizhi inherit and develop the figure painting.The fifth part:elaborates the influence of gu kaizhi and Chen hongshou's paintings on the later generations.Part six:conclusion.
