This paper takes the educational and teaching subjects set up in the early twentieth Century in the social transformation period as the object of study.Take the modern change and transformation of art education as the main line.The early stage of "picture handcraft" in China was further studied.Picture is a language that represents a characters.It is a simple way to express complex content.Compared with the character,it has the characteristics of succinct and vivid.In the period of social transformation,it has important historical significance and research value.The establishment of "picture handwork" and the reform of education,For us to comb the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,the "picture" idea and the change of art education and teaching system were discussed.As well as the presupposition of the "picture manua" curriculum standards,the analysis of the teaching text,.the teaching function,the social evaluation and the sociological value,this paper provides a realistic reference model.This article takes the creation of "picture handcraft" section and the teaching of education as the main clue.Based on the Chinese art culture position,From the angle of cultural exchange between China and the west,Focusing on the "picture and manual",educational ideology,educational system and cultural functions.In the order of the change of the times,We should link up "picture handcraft" education activities with emphasis and level.To find a potential change in the order.Take the modernization of Chinese society after the Opium War as a clue.In this paper,the study of picture handcraft education in early twentieth Century is mainly divided into four parts.The analysis of ideological level,educational system,curriculum standard and teaching content changes and the function and sociological value of"picture handcraft".Firstly,after the great transformation of social production and social system,the education system of traditional mentor and apprenticeship has been changed.Highlighting a variety of drawbacks,The style of private school teaching is changing to the new school.Meanwhile,The aggression of the Western powers to China made the social masses actively explore western education and teaching methods from the original passive acceptance of western advanced ideas,culture and technology.In the Westernization Movement and the reform movement,"the middle school as the body,the western learning as the use" and the "grid material utilization" thought made the"picture" Enlightenment thought popular in the whole society.Scholars who returned to study abroad put forward the new idea of "art education to save the nation".It has made great contributions to the nurture of new values,the reconstruction of social psychological structure and behavior norms.Second,from the late Qing Dynasty "New Deal" new school system,we proposed the establishment of "picture handcraft" section.The "picture manual" teaching system has been gradually established.Meanwhile,the teaching plan promulgated by the Ministry of education has become the core of "picture handcraft".Taking the change of art education as the main line of time,The two way interaction between ancient "technology" and "art",the transformation of fine arts education and the gradual improvement of "picture handcraft" education system are connected.Through the study of the transformation of "painting and handwork" system,It not only summarizes the essential characteristics and spiritual connotation of the"picture handcraft" education.At the same time,it provides a lot of inspiration for modern and contemporary art education.Third,from the ideological level,teaching practice,social development and other aspects,we analyze the "picture handcraft"course.It fully affirmed the important contribution of "picture handcraft" department to training students' hand eye and training practical talents in the early twentieth Century.Fourth,it focuses on the culture,education and its sociological value of "picture handcraft".Analyzes the historical influence of the "picture handcraft" section on the Centennial art education in China.The conclusion is a systematic summary of the above contents.in the early 20th century,"Drawing by hand" is a unique cultural phenomenon.It is the product of the collision between the traditional education in China and the new education in the west.Integrating traditional Chinese education ideas with the western advanced education concepts,introducing the education system of the west in the school art teaching,On the basis of this,the advanced intellectuals who returned to China have made a series of explorations on teaching methods in teaching practice.It enriches the teaching system of "drawing hand" course.The appearance of "painting by hand" means the transformation and transformation of education of fine art,showing the profound realistic value and historical significance.
