The Application Of REMO Drum Heads In A Variety Of Popular Music Styles

In this paper,the author collates the founding course of Remo Company,the largest manufacturer of drum leather in the world,and uses the drum leather of Remo brand for reference,drawing lessons from foreign authoritative jazz drummers.(Carter Beauford,Vinnie Colaiutar,Chad Smith,Benny Greb,Mike Portnoy,Peter Erskine etc.)The research on teaching and playing materials of different drum skins has accumulated experience in the application of different pop music.Nowadays,pop music has a variety of styles,and a single type of drum skin can not meet the needs of players for different music.The author arranges the drum skin produced by Remo Company.From the aspects of drum marking,thickness,appearance,dimension and special technology,the paper makes a comprehensive and systematic analysis of drum skin,and enumerates four kinds of drum skins combined with the music works of performing artists to analyze their use characteristics.Enumerates the specific drum skin spokespersons to its performance music style carries on the analysis arrangement,compiles this article to fill in the academic gaps.
