In the process of the development of Buddhist art in the Sui and Tang Dynasties,grottoes and statues excavated in Guangyuan and Bazhong as the representative of the northern Sichuan area affected by the North Central Plains area,also showed regional features,this feature in the law of God belongs to the Buddhist statues of Hercules is especially evident.In the preserved better Guangyuan huangze temple,Qianfoya,Guanyinyan Bazhong,niches,West niches,water Ning Temple niches at the outside of a large number of lux statues,not only the quantity,composition and morphological diversity,lasting for a long time,and the cultural connotation,has high artistic research value.In this paper,based on the investigation,with the help of the archaeological investigation and excavation materials and research achievements,the key combination form and style of statues of the Sui and Tang Dynasties lux in northern Sichuan are analyzed,reveals the development and evolution process,and through the comparison with the Central Plains Alex statues,the regional characteristics of the region on the Buddhist art,and discusses the cultural origins and beliefs behind the prosperity of the area Alex statues.
