Parody is a special form of artistic creation.It is a new work generated by imitating and rewriting a text or a number of texts with irony and banter intentions.Parody is one of the most important means of expression in the post-modernism.It not only marks the transformation and innovation of the form of art,but also embodies the "Carnival" phenomenon of artistic creation.In the post-modern cultural context,parody is no longer confined to the field of pure literature and art.It has a wide range of materials,flexible forms and strong critical value.Even it has a close relationship with the changes in the contemporary western cultural context,literature and art theory and ideology,which is an important issue of concern.Therefore,it is helpful for us to understand the form and function of Postmodern Parody from the angle of theory and to correctly understand the critical value of the rich Postmodern Parody in the perspective of the aesthetic criticism of the Postmodern Parody and the basic combing of Western Postmodern Parody theory.Combined with the Postmodern Parody after parody,the paper mainly investigates the following main problems: first,what is the cultural theoretical background of Postmodern Parody? How does this theoretical background separate Postmodern Parody from traditional parody and distinguish from ancient parody and modern parody?Second,how to show its aesthetic criticism from the relationship of post-modern parody,literary meaning,aesthetic style and cultural politics.Third,how should Postmodern Parody go forward?This article,taking the aesthetic criticism of Western Postmodern Parody as the angle of view,combs the theory of Western parody,and understands the basic development and aesthetic characteristics of parody practice on the basis of collating and absorbing.First,parody is put in the context of Postmodern History,society and culture,and the cultural background of Postmodern Parody and the simple combing and discussion of the relevance between Postmodern Parody theory and postmodernism are very necessary.Secondly,this paper discusses the four dimensions of text relationship,literary meaning,aesthetic style and cultural politics.The "subversion and reconfiguration" of the parody in each dimension is the main clue of the article writing.From the textual relationship,as the parody works always contain two or more texts,and in different cultural contexts,there is a difference in the interrelation within the parody text.So how do the theorists discuss the topic on the topic of text relations.In the context of it,how does it change? How does the post-modern parody deal with the problem of textual relations? What effect has it produced? The change in the relationship of text makes the meaning change.The significance of the parody theory is discussed.The significance of the Postmodern Parody to the traditional text is not only subverting,deconstructing,but also generating new meaning and new interpretation.Atthe same time,Postmodern Parody is not only a form of creation,but also a post-modern style and an aesthetic paradigm.Parody has changed the traditional aesthetic style of advocating elitism,making the aesthetic style tend to be entertaining,commercialized,planalized and life oriented.Postmodern politics is mainly reflected in cultural resistance.It is a micro power discourse,embodied in his deconstruction and construction of culture.At the same time,the political criticism of Postmodern Parody is very contradictory.It is both subversive and compromising.
