Xinjiang is located in the northwest of China, where East Asia and Mid Asia interacted with each other. While porcelain is first created by the people living in the southeast coast of China. The study is going to collect all the materials about the porcelain discovered in Xinjiang area from yuan dynasty to qing dynasty,by using archaeological analysis,as well as combining historical documents and folklore materials,to better know the relationship of Xinjiang and other parts of China and show both their cultural influence.By observing the process of porcelain development in Xinjiang,we think it was from tang dynasty that the porcelain began to be brought in Xinjiang, during which there is only a few of amount of celadon and white porcelain. When it comes to yuan dynasty, because of the unity of both the area and the culture, the quantity and the distribution of the porcelain discovered in Xinjiang are increasing sharply, especially in Almliq. However, there are little porcelain in ming dynasty mainly due to the government's negative attitude to the ‘Xiyu' affair.Unitl the qing government seized Junggar in Qianlong period, porcelain appeared almost everywhere in Xinjiang;and Xinjiang also started its own porcelain industry. At the meantime, the process suggests the porcelain became able to be used by the people of all social stratums. The study concludes that there are three main factors which contribute to the above-mentioned results. One is the political and military landscape;it is the necessary prerequisite for porcelain entering Xinjiang area. Also, the law of the porcelain's development itself is objective condition. The last is the factor of people which can be divided into two parts, one is immigration, the other concerning about people's social classes.Together, all the factors, represent that Xinjiang has been gradually incorporated into our national community.
