The southern silk road is an important international political, economic, cultural and other international channels across China,Southeast Asia,South Asia, and Europe, spanning the South China Sea and the Indian Ocean and connecting Asia and Europe. The existing research results and a large number of archaeological and literature data show that there is a long-term and continuous communication relationship in the areas along the South Silk Road, and each region achieves political balance, economic exchange and cultural interaction. Therefore, the study of the southern silk road is of great significance not only for the study of China's politics, economy and culture, but also for the political, economic and cultural studies in Eurasia. The focus of this paper is to study the Southern Silk Road from the perspective of classical philology. In the existing research results of the Southern Silk Road, more research is based on archaeological results, and the time is mainly concentrated before the Qin and Han Dynasties, while the study of the Southern Silk Road after the Han and Wei dynasties is relatively scarce.Of course, the time and method of the research results reflect its consistency. The documents available before Qin and Han Dynasties are very limited. Therefore, this is one of the reasons why the research results of the South Silk Road are concentrated before the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the research basis is mainly archaeological data. After the Tang and Song Dynasties, there are more available documents. On the basis of full possession of literature, this paper takes silk and tea as the main objects, and makes a deep demonstration of the main historical clues and characteristics of the economic and cultural exchanges on the Southern Silk Road. Before writing the paper, the relevant literature of Nansi road is classified and sorted out. Therefore, all viewpoints of this paper are based on full possession of literature and empirical analysis. The research on economic and cultural exchanges of the Southern Silk Road has always been the focus of the study of the silk road. The basis of the existence of the silk road is the strong demand for regional economic and cultural exchanges.Political mutual trust, economic development and cultural complementarity have always been the reasons for the exchanges between regions along the silk road. The economic and cultural exchanges on the South Silk Road have had an important impact on the national political and social development. It is helpful to better understand the purpose and significance of national exchanges, the causes and driving forces of economic development, and the causes of cultural formation.Silk and Tea are the two most important economic and cultural forms in the study of economic and cultural exchanges along the Southern Silk Road.Silk had the monetary function in the trade activities between ancient Eurasian countries. The reason lies in the strong demand for silk in the international market. In addition to archaeological materials,a large number of documents show the importance of silk to the national economy. As Zhuge Liang said, the economy of Shu Han Dynasty "only worships brocade".After the commercialization of tea,it has a wide range of markets in northwest ethnic minorities,Tubo,Europe and other regions.Since the Tang Dynasty,China has banned the private sale of tea.Tea monopoly and trafficking in Europe have made China's tea economy equally important. The silk economy and culture in Chengdu is the most prosperous, then influence and spread to the Southern Silk Road Yunnan,Guizhou,Guangxi, and then spread abroad. From the literature, there is an obvious transmission route and acceptance process. The tea economy and culture in Bashu is the most prosperous.Taking the historical period as the clue, the area along the South Silk Road from north to South and back to Southeast Asia also has obvious economic and cultural development context.Bashu area is the center of economic and cultural development and dissemination of Nansi road. The silk and tea economy and culture of the South Silk Road are closely related to Bashu region, and their economic origin, formation and evolution are obvious in Bashu region.A large number of documents prove that Bashu area is the core area of silk and tea economic and cultural exchanges, and its development along the South Silk Road Economic and cultural transmission route has had an important impact on other regions.Bashu area is the center of silk and tea economic development on the South Silk Road, and is also the center of the formation and dissemination of silk and tea culture in the South Silk Road. The existence of the silk monetary financial circle in the economic exchange of the South Silk Road.Silk,as a kind of currency, plays an important role in the economic development of the South Silk Road and affects the economy. From the literature empirical study, silk occupies the main
