Mencius' Thoughts On The Realm Of Personality And The Moral Construction Of Contemporary Civil Servants

At present,our country is in the period of social and economic transformation.The phenomenon of moral anomie is widespread in the whole society.The social contradictions are becoming more and more intense because of the asymmetry of social,political and economic development,among which the contradictions between the government and the public occur frequently.As the main body representing the image of the government,the moral construction of the civil servants has naturally become the focus of this paper.Although most of the civil in our country have good moral qualities,there are still some civil servants with moral decline,which will seriously affect the good image of the party and the state among the public,making the public lose confidence in the party and the government.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the moral construction of civil servants,and Mencius’ theory of goodness and ideal personality is of great value to the moral construction of contemporary civil servants.Besides the introduction and conclusion,the thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter briefly introduces the meaning of personality and personality,and makes a brief analysis of the background and theoretical origin of Mencius’ personality realm thought.Chapter Two expounds the theoretical cornerstone of Mencius’ thought of personality state-the theory of good nature,the thought of ideal personality and the cultivation of ideal personality state.The third chapter expounds the phenomena of moral anomie and moral construction in civil servants,and expounds the Enlightenment of Mencius’ personality realm thought system to the moral construction of civil servants.
