As an important part of traditional culture education in ancient China,music education has a long history of emergence and establishment.As early as the Five Emperors,music was regarded as one of the contents of educating children.In the Western Zhou Dynasty,Zhou Gong “made a courtesy and music” to develop and perfect the music education,forming a complete system.During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period,the Confucianism represented by Confucius,Mencius and Xunzi inherited the "ritual and music system" created by Zhou Gong.In the opposition voice represented by ink and law,it is highly recommended to use ritual music to guide the education of the people.To achieve political unity and social stability.It can be seen that the music education throughout the pre-Qin period education system is always worthy of attention and attention.Therefore,this thesis selects the music education in Confucian classics in the pre-Qin period as the research perspective,and compiles and studies the Confucian music education literature in the pre-Qin period,in order to provide a more complete literature for the in-depth study of Confucian music education.The research is embodied in discussing the theoretical problems of Confucian music education and explaining the relevant issues of literature selection,which is divided into three parts:First,the meaning and scope of Confucian music education in the pre-Qin period.Ancient Chinese music originated from religious ritual activities.Therefore,the music education in the pre-Qin period included the common role of poetry,music and dance.The word "music education" was first seen in "Book of Rites and Scriptures",and its essay: "Guangbo Yiliang,music education is also".It embodies the ultimate goal of music education,that is,to cultivate a gentleman with a broad mind and a simple and kind personality.Second,the characteristics and significance of the implementation of Confucian music education in the pre-Qin period.As one of the main contents of pre-Qin Confucian education,music education has three characteristics: word of mouth,life and human phenomenology and yin and yang.Through continuous education,it has a great influence on the political rule of the country,the moral cultivation of gentlemen,and the aesthetic principles of Confucianism.Explain the choice of the literature materials in this paper.The content of the Confucian music education in the pre-Qin period is huge and the system is complex.Due to the limited personal ability and energy,this article only uses the content of the "Thirteen Classics" plus "Xunzi" and "Lu Shi Chunqiu" as the scope of the whole paper.The examples in this paper introduce the style of literature commentary.The literature part of this article is arranged in the order of the "Thirteen Classics"(in accordance with the original),"Xunzi",and "Lu's Spring and Autumn".Before the main body of each book,a summary of the music education issues involved in this book is summarized.Each post of each book is summarized around the content of the selected text.The commentary section of the text examines the results of the school notes,notes,and comments of each family in different periods,and re-annotates and corrects the missed and incorrect places.
