"Ms. Shafei's Diary" Accepts Historical Research

In the history of modern Chinese literature,Ding Ling is undoubtedly unique.Few writers like her have such close ties with the characters in her works and suffer the same amount of controversy.Ding Ling and Sha Fei,the two names are closely linked.The academic research on Sha Fei runs through the whole process of Ding Ling's research.The praise and derogation of Ding Ling and Sha Fei for more than half a century have not been confined to the model of literary criticism.The criticism caused by Ms.Sha Fei's Diary(hereinafter referred to as Diary)is thought-provoking.Taking the history of acceptance of Diary as the breakthrough point,this paper tries to present comprehensively the acceptance of Diary in different times,different regions and different objects of acceptance,and deeply analyses the causes of its rise and fall,so as to clarify the literary and artistic tendencies in different historical stages.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into three chapters.Chapter One: Systematically combing and analyzing the acceptance history of Diary before the new period.In order of time,this paper studies the acceptance before and after publication,with critics as the main body and ordinary readers as the supplement.This paper examines the social and cultural context of the literary field in which the enlightenment discourse of May 4th Movement turned to revolutionary literature at the initial stage of the publication of Diary,the appealing charm of the text,and the tendency of commercialization under the urban culture of Shanghai,so as to restore the acceptance of Diary in the literary context at that time,which is also the initial reason and influencing factor for the change of acceptance in later periods.Chapter Two: Study and analyze the acceptance of Diary after the new period.Taking 1978 to the present as the time node,and taking the literary environment of different periods and the history of cross-cultural horizons as the background,this paper discusses how the Diary was evaluated in this period,different from the previous period,and the reasons for these changes.After decades of distorted alienation,in the new historical context,Diary has been re-interpreted and evaluated,the status of literary history has also changed,and has been evaluated by different discourse systems,and increasingly influenced by commercial culture.Under the influence of mass media such as film,television,network and so on,Sha Fei and Ding Ling have become consumption symbols.Chapter Three: Reflections on the Enlightenment and Significance behind the Reception History of Diary.The history of acceptance of Diary undoubtedly has special enlightenment for contemporary literature.It has rich enlightenment for the standard and direction of interpretation of contemporary literature,the relationship between literature and politics in contemporary context,and the pros and cons of literature development in contemporary popular culture context.The conclusion summarizes the evolution process of the interpretation of Sha Fei 's image,explains the spiritual isomorphism between Sha Fei and Ding Ling,and points out that the controversy about the study of Diary in the past 90 years has caused both Sha Fei and Ding Ling to swing between "left" and "right".It should be said that Ding Ling's acceptance of history is only about narration and method,and there is no absolutely correct criterion for judging it.What worth thinking about are the gains and losses of each narration and method,so as to enrich our mind.
