A Comparative Study Of Jin Yuelin And Feng Youlan's "Wuji And Taiji" Thoughts

Jin Yuelin and Feng Youlan played an important role in the development of Chinese philosophy.They exchanged and discussed with each other during the Anti-Japanese War and had great similarities in their philosophical thoughts.As one of the important concepts of Chinese traditional philosophy,"Wuji and Taiji" occupies an important position in Jin Yuelin and Feng Youlan systems.This paper tries to discuss Jin Yuelin and Feng Youlan’s "Wuji and Taiji" thoughts and compare their differences from the point of view of rational analysis through the multi-dimensional perspective of their "Wuji and Taiji" thoughts by using comparative research methods.On the realistic level,this paper explores the significance of their thoughts to the development of contemporary Chinese philosophy.Firstly,it outlines the ideological development and background of the concept of "Wuji and Taiji".Secondly,through the elaboration of "Wuji and Taiji" by Jin Yuelin and Feng Youlan,the differences of their thoughts are analyzed.Finally,the rationality and feasibility of Jin Yuelin and Feng Youlan’s metaphysical modernization transformation are reviewed and summarized.
