Chinese as a foreign language textbook is one of the important tools for Chinese learners to learn Chinese.The success of a textbook should be considered from many aspects.In this paper,the author takes the textbook "Chinese For College Students Intermediate Intensive Reading" published by the Chinese language Teaching Press in2010 as the research object,using the methods of statistical analysis,literature analysis and inductive summary,referring to the contents of the Chinese syllabus for Foreign students in Colleges and Universities(long-term study),summarizing the writing objectives,the writing principles and the writing style of the textbook,investigating and analyzing the contents of the textbook systematically from four aspects: vocabulary,grammar points,text and practice.Through analysis,the author finds that the number of vocabulary in this textbook is small and the level distribution is not reasonable;the number and level of grammar points are not in accordance with the requirements of the syllabus,and the explanation method of grammar points is relatively single,the number of texts is small,the subjects are not rich and the texts are difficult;The distribution of practice types is unreasonable and the total number of questions is less.Aiming at the deficiency of the textbook,the author puts forward the corresponding revised proposals in the end.
