The Chinese education in Cambodia has a history of more than 100 years.In recent years,with the implementation of China's "One Belt And One Road" strategy,the economic,trade and cultural exchanges with Cambodia are increasingly frequent,the demand for Chinese learning is increasing day by day,and the Chinese education in Cambodia is developing rapidly.However,the development of Chinese schools in Cambodia is affected by policies and other aspects and faces many bottlenecks,especially for Chinese schools in remote areas with backward economy.This paper selects Memot QiHua school,which is the earliest school in Cambodia to resume Chinese language teaching.This paper uses questionnaire survey,interview method and comparative analysis method to analyse.The historical development of Chinese language education,the current development situation of Chinese schools is summarized and some cases of Chinese schools are listed for comparative analysis.This paper investigates the general situation,teachers,students,teaching materials,classroom teaching,teaching management and other aspects of Memot QiHua school and analyzes the current situation of Chinese teaching in this school,and summarizes and evaluates the problems existing in the three aspects.Specific solutions are proposed for the existing problems of Memot QiHua school as follows:1.Improve infrastructure and update school philosophy2.Construction of high-quality teaching staff3.Increase publicity to increase the number of studentsThrough the investigation and research on the Chinese language teaching in Memot QiHua school,this paper aims to provide some reference and help for the small-scale Chinese schools with backward economic development like this school in the Chinese language teaching in Cambodia.
