As for the matter of moral cultivation,Kant put forward his own thought about moral cultivation in his philosophy.As an important realistic matter,moral cultivation involves in thoughts such as will freedom,good and evil of human nature,root of evil,moral law and self-discipline of will in the field of moral philosophy.This paper tries to explain some core concepts of Kant's moral cultivation and the relationship between rational man,moral cultivation and doing good while shun evil,which includes: the relationship between transcendental freedom and practical freedom,good and evil of human nature based on the nature of will freedom,root of evil and possibility of doing good while shun evil,moral law and moral motivation and self-discipline of will,the subjectivity of rational man in moral cultivation,this theory generating modern social meanings and revealing some theoretical problems that may exist.Based on explanations on those theses,it concludes that the Kant's thoughts about moral cultivation not only has established the necessity of rational man's doing good while shun evil and utter revolution of idea,but especially emphasizes rational man's subjectivity in moral cultivation and self-discipline in moral.Besides,moral environment and factors of sensibility such as emotion has a great influence on rational man's moral cultivation as well.
