Research On Petrovich's Practical Philosophy

Gajo Petrovi? was an excellent interpreter of Marxist philosophy in the 20 th century.As one of the most influential scholars of the Yugoslavian practice school,he sticks to interpreting Marxism as a humanitarian practical philosophy.By criticizing Soviet Union's mechanical philosophical idea,Petrovi? revitalized Marx's philosophical legacies and pointed out the essential spirit of its practical philosophy.This paper consists of four chapters.Chapter 1 reviews the social and historical background behind the formation of Petrovi?'s philosophical ideas as well as its major theoretical origin,thus laying a solid foundation for research into Petrovi?'s practical philosophy.Chapter 2 demonstrates the theoretical connotation and demonstrates Petrovi?'s practical philosophy by clarifying the relationship among four categories,including “humanitarianism,” “practice,” “existence” and “human.” Chapter 3 reveals the internal critical dimensions of Petrovi?'s practical philosophical ideas in three aspects—epistemological criticism,methodological criticism and value criticism—at an attempt to gain a deeper understanding of the connotation and essence of Petrovi?'s practical philosophy.Chapter 4 discusses main values and era responses of Petrovi?'s practical philosophical ideas.On the one hand,humanitarian pursuits of Petrovi?'s practical philosophy are expounded.On the other hand,implications of Petrovi?'s practical philosophical ideas for socialist theories and practices with Chinese characteristics are examined.Petrovi? critique Soviet Union's mechanical philosophical idea and the discussion of humanitarianism and the emphasis on practical philosophy opened up a new theoretical vision for understanding and understanding Marxism.The study of Petrovi? practical philosophy is not only for presenting a new perspective on understanding and interpreting Marxism,but also for the development of the practical philosophy of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,and for the existence value and the exertion of the people who show the new era as the historical subject.
