Under the theoretical guidance of Eco-translatology,this translation report,by analyzing the linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension in the source text and summarizing the problems encountered in the translation process, explores the translation methods of philosophical texts with a view to amplifying the research scope of this theory.“Harmony, integrity and comprehensiveness” are three important components of “ecology”,and they agree well with the concept of “harmony, health, balance and beauty” pursued in the translation process(Jiang Xiaohua,2014:51).On the basement of theory research and case analysis, the translator finds out that linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension reveals the following three characteristics in the process of transformation. The first characteristic reflects in the linguistic dimension. In the process of translation, the translator focuses on using some translation strategies, including changes in part of speech, sentence structure and semantic,as well as between abstract and concrete words and the active and passive voice. All of these strategies above help to solve the problems arising by specific and abstract words in the original text, such as ambiguity, polysemy, nounization structure, expressions, passive sentence, etc.;The second finds expression in communicative dimension.Strategies such as supplemental translation, interpretative translation and pronominal replacement are used to solve problems arising by transformation of communicative ecology, including intra-sentences,inter-sentences,metaphors,pronouns,and textual cohesion. The third manifests on cultural dimension. It mainly adopts annotated translation strategy to solve the problems of information loss caused by cultural differences. The four-character structure is also used in the translation text to solve this kind of problems. This report is divided into four sections: the description of translation task, the translation process, the case analysis and the conclusion drawn from this translation practice. The description of translation task consists of three parts. The first part is entitled as “Source of Translation Task''.The translator has detailed the source of this translation task in this part. The topic of the second part is “Introduction to Translation Task”.The translator briefly describes the original text and its author's information. The third part is entitled as “The meaning of translation project”.The translator explores the practical significance of the project from both international and domestic perspectives. The translation process mainly consists of two parts. The first part is “Pre-translation Preparation”,which including the method of formulating the glossary, the translation theory, and a translation plan. The second part is “Analysis and Modification of Translation Manuscripts”,which analyzes the errors and misunderstandings caused by the blind spots of knowledge, and the difficulties in original text. The translation case analysis consists of three parts. The first part is “Adaptive Selection Conversion in Linguistic Dimension”,and the translator interprets the translation case from the lexical ecology and the sentence ecological layer respectively in this part; The second part is “Adaptive Selection Conversion in Communicative Dimension”,the translator selects some cases from the material and tries to explain them from the perspectives of metaphor and logic; The third part is “Adaptive Selection Conversion in Cultural Dimension”.The translator selects some cases for analyzing from perspectives of cultural differences and expressions. The last part is the conclusion drawn from this translation practice, which includes the unsolved problems in the process of translation, some related thoughts, and the experience gained from this translation project. All of these above will inspire a lot for the future translation work.
