On The Formation Of Ecological Conscience

The three industrial revolutions promoted the progress of human civilization in all directions,and behind the rapid development of society,it was the unbridled and endless harm to nature,which led to the destruction and disintegration of the structure and function of the natural environment and ecosystem.As a result,a series of ecological environmental problems have emerged.Ecological crisis has posed a serious threat to the survival and development of human beings.In the face of ecological crisis,human has adopted economic and institutional measures,but has not solved the ecological problems effectively.In order to solve the ecological crisis fundamentally,it is necessary to cultivate human ecological consciousness,form ecological conscience,awaken people's inner self-discipline and self-consciousness,and regulate and restrain people's ecological consciousness.Ecological behavior coordinates the relationship between man and nature and society,and extends moral care and conscience to the whole nature.The first part explains the characteristics and contents of ecological conscience.Firstly,by analyzing the general meaning of conscience and combining with the special research object of ecological ethics,this paper expounds the concept and essence of ecological conscience.Secondly,the ecological conscience emphasizes ecological balance,pursues the unity of heaven and man,and pays attention to the existence and development of human beings.Finally,it discusses the content of ecological conscience from four aspects: benevolence,shame and responsibility.The second part discusses the formation of ecological conscience.The first is to expound the four inner psychological elements of ecological conscience,ecological moral cognition,ecological moral emotion,ecological moral will and ecological moral belief.The second is the analysis of the external conditions of the formation of ecological conscience,including material basis,institutional guarantee,and cultural conditions.The third part further leads to the path of forming ecological conscience.This article mainly elaborated the three ways of forming ecological conscience.First of all,we should set up the goal consciousness of ecological conscience and the ecological value of harmonious development between man and nature.Strengthen individual ecological moral self-discipline.Secondly,we should set up the idea of ecological moral education and strengthen the moral education in accordance with the formation law of ecological conscience.Finally,the environmental conditions conducive to the formation of ecological conscience are analyzed from three aspects: public opinion guidance,moral reward and punishment,and legal protection.Ecological conscience is a kind of universal conscience,which is not limited to human beings,but also exists between non-human beings.The proposal of ecological conscience is a new angle of view and a new train of thought for human beings to solve ecological problems.It is an inevitable measure to realize the harmonious development of human beings,nature and society.
