Research On The Application Of Cultural Symbols In The Exhibition Space Of Ethnic Museums

The purpose and mission of global museums is to protect and inherit the diverse cultures and colorful environment of human society.The Museum of Nationalities bears the responsibility of protecting national cultural resources.This paper takes the application of cultural symbols in the exhibition space of the National Museum as a practical example to make culture the object that can be designed,and use it to interact with the audience in the exhibition space,so as to achieve the purpose of protecting and inheriting the national culture.The research content of the subject is divided into five parts.Chapter one elaborates the background,significance and methods of the research.In the second chapter,the related concepts are elaborated.Firstly,this paper discusses the relevant concepts,functions and significance of museums,then introduces the concept and significance of national museums,as well as the methods and principles of exhibition design of national museums.Through the study of the audience of exhibition design of national museums,it concludes that the exhibition design of national museums should be combined with the representative cultural symbols of their own nationalities,so as to enhance the atmosphere of the exhibition environment and make the exhibition design more effective.The theme of the exhibition was strengthened.The third chapter mainly studies the concept and basic connotation of cultural symbols,classifies and elaborates the significance of cultural symbols,as well as the manifestations of various symbols in museum display space.Then it introduces the expression of the formal beauty of cultural symbols in museum display space and display form.Chapter IV discusses the specific application of cultural symbols in national museums,and chooses cases of cultural symbols in national folk exhibitions at home and abroad to analyze the application of cultural symbols in exhibitions from the perspective of architectural environment and exhibits display form.The fifth chapter is a practical example,taking the design practice of "China Xibo Museum" as an example,taking Xibo folk culture as a clue to extract the design material,and analyzing the visual language of Xibo Museum in the process of design and development,focusing on innovation,and integrating cultural symbols by extracting Xibo cultural resources and nationalcultural details.With innovative application,the cultural symbols of exhibition design of Xibo Museum are formed.Practical research shows that cultural symbols in exhibition design or national theme exhibition of national museums are not only pure elaboration,but also representative visual language can be found by exploring the deep connotation of national culture,and then refined to make the audience naturally accept these national cultural symbols,and ultimately achieve the protection and inheritance of national culture,so as to make the museum.The exhibition content of the museum is to teach people.
