"Maogus",an original form of art that combined dance with drama,are created by TuJia ethnic minority in a long history,some scholars just like Zhang Ziwei,Peng Jikuan had made a consideration that its origins lie in Tujia ethnic minorities'worship for their ancestors,however,the series of "Maogus" such as"hunting" and "bride" brought back to an ancinet life of human beings,thus the experts who tak:e the same view comment on it "Chinese drama as far as the source".And "Chinese folk dance integration" will be recorded as "Chinese dance living fossil"! Dual characteristics which combined dance with drama made an "uncertaining" whether it is form of dance or drama,and present academic researches make too much attention on its identity which of the intangible cultural heritage,more is about the origins of "Maogus" and the developments of it,people who are intersted in the intangible culture heritage made the contributions to a new research hotspot,this paper takes a similar view reference combined with "intangible" and "theatrical" the two different culture tendency,analysis "Maogus" contemporary survival circumstances,and thus provide the Tian Jiadong villige,Duan Longshan country,Gu Zhang couty an effective purchase in processes of the intangible cultural heritage's protective development.This paper is mainly carried out from the following three parts.In the first chapter,the author summarizes the origin,preservation form and dependent context of "Maogus" in Tianjiadong on the basis of literature review,previous interviews and video data collection.Thus,a systematic and concise introduction is made to the rheology of "Maogus" in selected field points.The second part of this paper is the key chapter,here is a "deep description" which about "Maogus" dependent way,three types of its existence in the context from the native soil to the stage,expounding its background and then discussing it how to present in a stage while seperated from the native soil,making an analysis of genetic bearing people make "renewable" and the traditional culture in the face of a new era of "modern transformation",to analyze its in contemporary survival mechanism;Third chapter dance body linguistics is employed more family,"Maogus" hole instrument from local to stage the process,what kind of drive is today's performance form the formation of"Maogus",from the performance of the phenomenon of "Maogus" behind the text reveals the implied social phenomenon,from the perspective of the stage,identity,its "theatrical" phenomenon refers to the power,and then analyze its modern value and its future prospect.As a folk activity that embodies the common value appeals of the Tujia ethnic minority people,"maogus" still has a high degree of public participation inTianjiadong village.The local community's recognition of the traditional culture of the ethnic group and its benign natural inheritance far outperforms the artificial inheritance of "interference”from the outside world.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore and predict its future survival and development,as well as to realize its natural inheritance,through the contemporary communication and "deep description" of "maogus" from the perspective of"intangible cultural heritage".
