In the process of social development and historical progress,mankind has created a rich cultural heritage,which includes material cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage,all those have an inseparable natural connection with the life of each generation.However,with the rapid development of the economy,the increasing innovation of new technology and the lack of belief,more and more intangible cultural heritage has been impacted and threw away by modern civilization,and is facing a dilemma of survival and inheritance.The documentary film,with its objective,real and disseminated natural attributes,has played an important role in protecting and recording,let more and more people join in the protection and inheritance.This paper studies the presentation of folklore culture in documentaries with the Intangible Cultural Heritage theme,which is divided into five chapters.Firstly,the introduction clarifies the purpose,significance,and innovation of the topic.By consulting documents,it provides theoretical support for the writing of the text.The main content of the text is to study the creative methods of documentaries with intangible cultural heritage;The first chapter is the definition of documentary and the advantages and values of the documentary in the protection;The second chapter describes the development history of the Intangible Cultural Heritage documentary;The third chapter describes the value of folk culture presentation in the documentary,mainly discussing the presentation and reconstruction of folk custom by image narration;The fourth chapter elaborates the creation of folk culture presentation;The fifth chapter,taking the creative practice of the author's work Families of Treasure Inheritance as the main content,analyses some difficulties and solutions in creating documentaries.
