Interpretation And Design Extension Of Nvshu Text Symbols

The thesis expounds the history,origin and existing problems of the art of Nushu and thoroughly researches the innovation and extension of the art of Nushu,especially studies on the font design,symbolization and aesthetic value of it.By integrating the rhythm and form beauty of Nushu into modern design,the development form and space of the Nushu art are broadened,making it vivid and interesting and protecting and inheriting the Nushu text in a better way.The first chapter explains the stories,causes,historical origins of Nushu,through investigating literature.Foreign and domestic research are elaborated and their deficiency are pointed out.The second chapter discusses the regular characteristics of the characters and symbols and particularly analyzes the Characteristics of the Nushu's characters.By comparison of Nushu with Chinese characters,formal beauty of Nushu is explored and blended in future design.The third chapter explored the formal beauty of Nushu and the cultural connotation reflected by it.The fourth chapter compiles and summarizes the symbols of Nushu.Based on the original text of the Nushu,a series of derivative designs such as font design,poster design and cultural creation product design is created from the perspective of modern design.
