Research On Font Dynamic Design From The Perspective Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection

In this dissertation,the research content is derived from the project on the dynamic development of intangible cultural heritage fonts,which was carried out by the author,who works as a member of the team which belong to Nanjing University of Science and Technology,under the guidance of my tutor during my postgraduate study.The background is based on digital media era,with the living status of intangible cultural heritage protection as its premise,the font of Jin Ling sutra carvings as its case,the research and application are discussed.The research is divided into two phases.The first phase mainly focuses on the reconstruction and on-line use of the font which comes from Jin Ling sutra carvings,the second phase mainly focuses on the dynamic design of the font.Up to now,the first phase has come to the end and the content of the second phase is the main object of the dissertation.The article learns the development history and the current situation of intangible cultural heritage and dynamic design under the method of literature view,through the understand and digestion of the knowledge which comes from MDA model framework,modulus and scale,eta.Appling the knowledge to the dynamic design,formulating the script and the development of the storyline,building the flow chart and frame diagram of its level,with the methods of the font dynamic design,realizing the dynamic design of the font.This result enriches the method of the activation of Jin Ling sutra carvings.After realizing the dynamic design,with the guidance of the dynamic script,we find out the graphic symbols that obtain the character and the artistic conception of the font,which can be directly represented.The artistic value of Jin Ling sutra carvings is embodied.By the same time,these graphic symbols provide the inspiration to the propagate and popularization of the font.The research,basing on the dynamic design of the font of Jin Ling sutra carvings,come from the making of dynamic script,the building of frame,the extract of symbols,all representing the renew of dynamic design.Based on the progress of this research,the realization of the activation riches the protecting methods,providing the theories and practice to the intangible cultural heritage.
