Research On The Influence Of The Audience On The Creation Of Derivative Dramas Of Online Novels

The instant,easy,extensive characteristics of online literature ensured the amount of its audience.Meanwhile,the fasten development of technology and internet has allowed the audiences' instant comment and feedback to the authors.For the purpose of verifying whether audiences' behaviour and expectation have influence on online novels adaptation,textual analysis is used to analyze the plot,actor,and visual design of fifty-one adaptations.Additionally,virtual ethnography is used to investigated the audiences' behaviour and expectations.From the comparison of the producers' opinion and audiences' expectation,it is found that the audiences are tend to watch fantasy and fairy chivalry with strong heroic colors,and some of them were also inclined to watch magnified realistic themes such as youth campus,urban life and criminal investigation.In addition,audiences of network literary derivative plays express their opinions from three different perspectives on video platform,social media and the community.First,they compare the similarities and differences between original works and adaptations,and divide them into two groups: one is faithful to original works,the other is loyal to original works.Second,from the general shooting point of view is divided into criticism of "typing man" and self-confessed understanding of all derivative drama creative flaws "Mary flow".The third is about character,one focus on acting skills,the other is focusing on the actor itself.These opinions not only have a direct impact on the creation of derivative plays,but also have a far-reaching follow-up impact on their creation.Through observing the audience's opinions on other works of the same type and combining their own creation ideas,creation experience and practical conditions,the creators of derivative dramas will determine a series of creation and schemes in terms of plot,camera language,actor selection and marketing strategy.As for the plot creation,most writers will determine the adaptation method according to the type of the original network novel,and combine the audience's expectation and the audience's evaluation of other adaptations of the same type to decide how to make the adaptation.In terms of camera language,the derivative production team designs actors' showing duration,audiences' expectations for actors,target audiences' psychology and realistic conditions.In the selection of actors,the creative team determines the actors and their roles in the derivative plays according to the fit of actors' images,comprehensive attention and actors' schedules.In terms of marketing strategy,the team makes corresponding publicity plans according to the viewing habits of target audiences and the comprehensive expression of opinions,and conducts event marketing or star attraction,etc.
