The Characteristics, Development Trends And Suggestions Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Documentaries

Documentary falls into artistic forms and film and television transmission modes with truth and story as its main features,which shares the authenticity principle emphasized in the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage.Therefore,if documentary can be used to tell about intangible cultural heritage,the form and content of documentary can be enriched,and the protection and spread of intangible culture can also be better done.Through the discussion and research on the development status,trend and suggestions of intangible cultural heritage documentaries,a series of development suggestions of intangible cultural heritage documentaries are put forward in this paper by analyzing the development trend of intangible cultural heritage documentaries in recent years and combining the positive effects and difficulties of current intangible cultural heritage documentaries,with the expectation to provide certain theoretical basis for the perfection of intangible cultural heritage documentaries and the transformation of the combination of such documentaries and new media.This paper consists of eight parts,in which the development status,trend and suggestions of intangible cultural heritage documentaries are discussed.The first part is a brief summary of the background,purpose and significance of this research,and a review of the current research situation and my research methods;The second part is about the concept of intangible cultural heritage documentary and the theoretical basis of this research.The third part focuses on demonstrating the effect of intangible cultural heritages expressed by the documentary,explaining and emphasizing the role of documentary to the intangible cultural heritages,finally suggesting that the documentary is necessary and a long-time required way to protect the intangible cultural heritages;The fourth part mainly discusses the creative types and current status of intangible documentaries,and find out their fundamental production characteristics through analysis;The fifth part evaluates the positive functions and development dilemma of the intangible documentary based on the current status of creation;The sixth part proposes a new change--"intangible micro documentary" considering the current status and dilemma,and argues the new change from the perspective of time length,content,form,and production,combined with literatures and personal graduation design,aiming at helping the creator of intangible documentary grasp new changes and providing theoretical bases for the innovation of the intangible documentary;Theseventh part consists of practices of the author's personal intangible micro documentary which is also the pertinent content of the graduation design titled Straw Dragon Family to provide factual bases for the previous discussion;The eighth part is a summary of this paper.The author hopes the discussion in this paper can make the academic circles pay more attention to,protect and inherit the intangible cultural heritage documentary and intangible cultural heritage,and contribute the strength to further develop the intangible cultural heritage documentary.
