Mi's Cloud and Mountain is a painting method initiated by Mi Fu and his son Mi Youren in the Song Dynasty.It mostly depicts the hazy rain and misty clouds of the mountains and rivers in the south of China,reflecting the uniqueness of its landscape paintings different from those of literati in the same period.This artical is starting from the humanistic feelings and landscape of Mi Fu and Mi Youren.Comparing with Dong Yuan and Ju Ran,exploring the independence and spiritual essence of Mi Fu and Mi Youren in the literati landscape paintings of the Song Dynasty.And then takes Mi Youren's "Xiaoxiang Qi Guan Tu",which is treasured up in the Palace Museum of Beijing,as the object of study,to analyze their viewing methods and landscape creation,and to compare with other representative works of Mi Youren.Finally,I will combine the theory of painting,literature,summarizing the influence of the several painters in Yuan and Ming Dynasty on future generations. |
