Gao Kegong's Inheritance And Development Of Mi's Cloud Mountain

The Song Dynasty landscape painting has reached an unprecedented height in the form of language and painting techniques,reflecting the unique aesthetic value and spiritual pursuit of traditional Chinese painting.It has an important position in the history of Chinese painting development.Mi Yunshan,created by Mi Fu,is unique in the Song Dynasty landscape painting,with a very stylized feature.Many painters,who followed Mi Fu,only studied the painting form,often fell into the stereotype of stylization.In the Yuan Dynasty,Gao Kegong made great achievements in studying Mi's paintings,and found a new way after Mi Fu.He not only inherited the essence of him,but also showed the picture of the natural scenery of south of China.At the same time,it also adopts the methods of Dong Ju and Li Cheng,which enriches the painting techniques and forms of him.He widens the scope and field of expression of the theme of "misty rain on Yunshan",and realizes the unity of image and charm,strength and elegance,richness and beauty,simplicity and complexity.The inheritance and development of Mi Fu has made a big step forward in the form of the paintings,found a new way for the development of Chinese painting,and set a benchmark for the creation of landscape painting in later generations.It has a far-reaching influence,and its artistic status can't be ignored.In the first chapter of this paper,through collecting historical materials about Gao' friends and teachers made a briefly summarized,and combined with the social background of the Yuan Dynasty to find out why he loved “Mi fu?Mi youren”.The second and third chapters use the method of picture analysis to make a comparative of some paintings about Gao Kegong's and Mi's.And summarize Gao Kegong's inheritance and development of Mi's painting language and artistic concept.Finally,this paper will briefly elaborate Gao Kegong's inheritance and evolution of Mie's Yunshan and its influence on later generations.
