Research On Fang Congyi's "Map Of Clouds And Mountains"

Fang Congyi,a Taoist painter,lived at the end of the Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of the Ming Dynasty.His works are unique and imprinted with The Times.As a representative work in his middle and later years,Cloud Mountain is full of modern feeling with its scattered,free and simple pictures."Clouds" and "mountains" are essential elements in his paintings.Starting from the image of "cloud mountains" and combining historical materials with real natural scenes,this paper will study the brush skills,composition forms and the relationship between painted scenes and real scenes of "clouds" and "mountains" elements in Fang Congyi's Cloud Mountains,and further explore the connotation and significance contained in Fang Congyi's works.Through this study,I want to think about the inspiration and influence of Fang Congyi's "Cloud Mountain" on my own creation.
