A selective complex sentence is composed of two or more clauses, each of which contains a choice and is selected by the listener according to the given choice. It is fr-equently used in the written language of modern Chinese and has a wide range of applications. It is also the key and difficult point in the teaching and learning of the second language(Chinese). In the process of correcting uygur college students'Chinese homework, the author has found that few of them used the selective complex sentences and there are many errors. However, there are few research results on uygur college students'acquisition of Chinese selective complex sentences. Therefore, this paper mainly studies the errors of uygur college students at level 3 and 4 of MHK in acquiring seven commonly used selective complex sentences.Through questionnaires,we could obtain the selection rate,non-selection rate and error rate.We also summar-ized the types of errors fr-om 2547 sentences in questionnaire 2,analysed the causes of errors, and gave the corresponding textbook compication and classroom teaching suggestions. The paper is divided into five chapters.Thr-ough statistical analysis of relevant data, the main conclusions are as follows:The number of Uygur university students using sentence pattern B at the level of MHK 3 and 4 is the most, over 30%,and the number of Uygur university students using sentence pattern A is the least, accounting for about 2%.All the students use single sentences to express the choice relationship most frequently. In addition to single sentences, students at both levels use other complex sentences instead of selective complex sentences.Uygur college students at level 3 and 4 of MHK have better command of sentence patterns B,D and E.Students at level 3 have the highest error rate of sentence pattern G,accounting for nearly 80%,followed by sentence pattern A with over 70%error rate. The error rate of sentence pattern A of MHK level 4 students was the highest, accounting for 60%,while that of sentence pattern G was 30%,which was 50%lower than that of level 3 students. There are three types of errors that students often make in selective complex sentences:errors caused by improper use of related words, errors caused by improper use of other words or sentence components and errors caused by incorrect logical relations in sentences.Among these types, the first type account for the largest proportion, followed by the second type, and the third type account for the smallest proportion. In addition,it is also found that students commonly use the sentences made by themselves. The reasons for terrors are mainly as follows:the structural expression of the choice relationship between mother tongue and Chinese is not corresponding;ignoring or not knowing the details of the rules will lead to eiTors in generalization;in the process of learning, learners are influenced by simplification strategy and avoidance strategy.;in the process of acquisition, the accuracy and depth of the grammar knowledge of selected complex sentences input by the teacher are not enough.
