Research On The Application Of Digital Media In Shadow Puppet Art

Shadow play is an important form of expression in Chinese folk art,combining various forms of artistic expression such as painting,sculpture,performance and music.Due to the lack of inheritors,the development of the troupe in a difficult position,and the lack of audience under the impact of film and television,the development and promotion of shadow puppet art has been hindered.Digital media has diversified forms of expression,can spread pictures,sounds,animations and texts,and has many advantages such as instant dissemination.The article first expounds the development history,genre classification,production process and performance of shadow play art,and then makes up for its limitations in the process of dissemination and performance by combining with digital media comprehensively,starting from the existing problems of shadow play art.Starting from the aesthetic value of shadow play art,this paper explores the development and innovation of shadow play art and develops intangible cultural heritage through design and application.Innovating in subjects,materials and roles to change the dilemma faced by shadow puppet art in a modern society;In order to make up for its limitations in the process of inheritance,new inheritance methods such as educational,venue and new media are used instead of oral and personal education.This article talks about the future development direction of shadow puppet art from the aspects of digital media,innovation and development.
